Group Classes for Life Planning Documents
Group Classes are a cost-effective and supportive way to create life planning documents such as Power of Attorney, Medical & Healthcare Power of Attorney, Living Will, and Guardianship of Children. While creation of these documents is a loving and responsible act for your loved ones, the process can be daunting for many. Classes gather as a small group to learn, create, and notarize one of these key documents, with the expert legal guidance of Wendi Cleckner. Attend one or all!

Your Questions, Answered-
Yes, the intention is for the document to be completed during the class session. There will education, time for questions, opportunity to complete the document, and there be a notary present to notarize completed documents. If you are ready and able to answer the questions, there is ample time for this to happen. However, if you are not ready to complete the document, you are welcome to attend for educational purposes. For maximum benefit, we recommend, you arrive ready to complete it and take advantage of having a notary available.
-
Yes, if you complete your document, we will have a notary present. You will need to have a valid government-issued photo ID with you. Notary fee is included in the cost of this class.
-
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID for notarizing your document. Come prepared to answer the questions that the document asks. For example, if you are doing the Power of Attorney class, you will need to know who you want to list. If you are doing the Guardianship class, you will need to know who you want to list as guardians for your children. If you do not yet know the answers, you are still welcome to come for the educational aspects for the class but to complete the documents, you will need to have key information decided.
